First Certificate Course
FCE Mansion First is a preparation course for the revised Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE). It is for students who have reached the level of English (B2) to take the FCE exam, and who wish to practise realistic exam tasks and develop exam technique.
This complete and extensive course prepares students for the FCE by providing thorough exam training with helpful guidance on all 4 parts of the exam (Reading and Use of English, Writing, Listening and Speaking).
Each part of the exam is divided into 3 sections:
- Exam information – detailed information on what to expect in each part.
- How To Do It – advice and practice for all 4 parts of the exam
- Exam Practice – exam-format activities relating to all four Cambridge FCE papers.
The course also contains:
- A vocabulary organisation and practice section.
- Detailed ‘Do’s’ and ‘Don’ts’ on how to approach exam tasks.
- Examples from real speaking test interviews and an interactive speaking test.
- Exam strategies and tips for each part of the exam
- Extensive Use of English practice
- Exam-based grammar revision
- Four complete practice tests for the New Cambridge First Certificate in English.
